FAMILY CAREGIVER EDUCATION SERIES

              The Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Illinois Chapter is pleased to present along with Orland Township Health Services, a Family Caregiver Education Series.  This series will include two two-hour programs on the following topics; Memory Loss 101, Responding to Communication Changes and Understanding Challenging Behaviors, Stress Management for Caregivers. These programs are open to anyone and are free of charge to participants.  The intended audience is family members and friends of people with memory loss, though anyone is welcome to attend.  The dates for these presentations are 3/l3/08 and 3/20/08, all classes will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. You may call the Alzheimer’s Association to register for these classes (815) 744-0804.  

HEALTHY HEART

              On Thursday, February 28, 2008 a representative from the Heart Care Center of Illinois will be at the Orland Township Activity Center, 15100 S. 94th Ave., Orland Park at 6:30 p.m. to talk about the healthy heart.  Taking care of your heart today means living longer and healthier.  Learn risk factors and the means to improve your heart health.  To register for this informative presentation call (708) 403-4222.

STAYING HEALTHY FOR THE FIRST 100 YEARS

              Dr. Joseph Brannigan, an Orland Park chiropractor will be at Orland Township, 15100 S. 94th Ave., Orland Park on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. to give a presentation regarding your health.
