SENIOR TRIPS 
Orland Township offers a variety of monthly day and overnight trips that are cost effective, enjoyable, and appeal to diverse interests and expectations. Trip escorts are provided by Orland Township. In the event of an emergency, trip escorts will make arrangements for transportation to the local health facility, but must remain with the group, unless a participant is traveling alone. All participants are required to provide an alternate emergency contact name and phone number upon ticket purchase. Please make your escort aware of any unusual medical conditions you may have. We also ask that you keep important medication and health information with you at all times.
Trip tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets for each event go on sale at 8:00 a.m. on the specified date. Tickets are limited to two per person and are non-transferable. In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be given prior to the refund deadline on the ticket. After the deadline, refunds will be given if the ticket can be resold to someone on the waiting list if applicable.
Buses for all trips leave from the parking lot behind ROBERT MORRIS COLLEGE next to BANK FINANCIAL which is located on the northwest corner of 151st Street and 94th Avenue.
We encourage you to participate in the upcoming senior trips, designed specifically for you!
Trips will now also designate how much walking is involved. The walking required is subjective, what might be easy for one person might be hard for another.

Come join us for a wonderful time exploring Mackinac Island and the surrounding area. Our stay is at Best Western Harbour Pointe Beachfront in St. Ignace, Michigan. The lack of modern transportation helps cultivate the sense of 19th century nostalgia pervading the island with its beautifully restored Victorian homes. A ferry ride to the island is the start of our tour, where we will tour the island by horse drawn carriages. Not to be missed is breakfast at the renowned Grand Hotel and browsing their many shops. Orland Township offers luncheons that include a hot catered meal and an afternoon of entertainment by fantastic performers such as singers, musicians, and comedians. Lunch generally consists of an entrée, vegetable, potato, salad, rolls, dessert, and beverage served promptly at noon. Tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets for each event go on sale at 8:00 a.m. on the specified date. Tickets are limited to two per person and are non-transferable. In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be given prior to the refund deadline on the ticket.
